Sales Development Representative
Are you an a budding Sales superstar looking to get involved at the ground level with a scale-up SaaS business? Then you're in luck - at Kapiche we have an opportunity for a Sales Development Representative to join our team and take a leading role in developing our presence in the US market.
As the first line of communication with potential leads, you will have a strong understanding of the sales process (MEDICC), excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting the rest of the Go-To-Market team up for success. You will be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to solve their customer insight problems.
Further, we aren't looking for someone who wants to sit in the SDR role long-term. We seek to promote from within, so a driven and skilled SDR will be tapped on the shoulder to step up to an Account Executive role (if they wish to do so). Our excellent "Hone Your Craft" policy has been designed to help staff with moving their careers in the directions they want.
This role will be based in the United States, however location within the US doesn't matter. As a remote-first organisation, we are set up for staff to work from their home. All you need is an internet connection!
The purpose of the Sales Development Representative role is to identify, generate, and qualify leads, moving them into the top of the Kapiche sales funnel. The SDR will screen potential leads, seeking to understand their intention to buy or readiness to speak with an Account Executive. They will seek out initial problems the lead is looking to solve and provide initial information to the Account Executive regarding the lead.
The SDR will also have exceptional communication and consultation skills. They will leverage these skills into developing relationships to move clients from one stage of the funnel to the next, before providing an exception warm hand-off to the Account Executive to finalise the process.
This role would be an excellent fit for someone who:
- Has 1-2 years experience as an SDR,
- Has experience within a SaaS or tech business,
- Has knowledge of the MEDICC process,
- Is a proactive person, who seeks success, and
- Is comfortable with the ambiguity and fast-paced nature of a scale-up business.
