MGA Thermal’s mission is to revolutionise the world’s renewable energy systems by developing novel materials, designing innovative technologies, and delivering thermal energy storage solutions.

Our core technology is a recently invented type of thermal storage material, Miscibility Gap Alloys (MGA). These are capable of storing a huge amount of energy as heat, in a safe and easy to use way. Our primary focus is enabling intermittent renewable energy sources, such as the sun and wind, to provide base load electricity to the grid.

This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate and growing team in an exciting position that will help MGA Thermal to increase its commercial capacity.

This position is responsible for the acquisition of customers. They will use their communication skills to network, pitch plans, negotiate sales, budgets, and timelines. Additionally, they will assist with the planning, development and implementation of business growth strategies. These strategies will reflect the objectives and priorities of the organisation, with a strong focus on maximising opportunities for sales, profit, generating revenue and accelerated growth.

Finally, it is essential for the candidate to share our team philosophy of using technology to make the world a better place.

Specifically, the key responsibilities include:

·        Developing and executing growth strategies

·        Performing market research from broad market trends to identifying target customers.

·        Networking, analytical skills, business know how, and strong communication skills.

·        Increasing company pipeline and closing sales with quality customers.

·        Negotiating sales or licensing arrangements.

·        Acting as an advocate within the public and private sectors, for renewable energy, energy storage and related issues relevant to the MGA business.

·        Promoting a harmonious work environment that supports all employees within the organisation and allows them to contribute to their fullest ability.
