About the role:
Q-CTRL is looking for a hands-on Marketing Leader based out of California (Los Angeles preferred) to direct and oversee our Marketing function. The role will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.  

As the leader of our marketing function, our ideal candidate has a strong track record of Marketing leadership in a high growth / cutting edge technology startup and experience in successfully managing a variety of Marketing functions, including: product, brand, digital marketing, PR, and a seasoned hand in handling events. You will nurture the small existing team and scrappily grow and expand its capabilities incrementally in alignment with various parts of the business. 

We are looking for a proven technology marketing leader who loves rolling up their sleeves, making things happen, and helping emerging and fast growing companies like us stand out in a crowded, rapidly growing early market like Quantum Computing and Quantum Sensing.  

What you’ll be doing:

- Take over and manage Q-CTRL’s Marketing function. Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Design and Operations to make critical decisions and priority calls
- Manage, support, and lead a diverse team to produce optimal outcomes for both team growth and company objectives
- Manage and engage external providers including agencies, consultants, and freelancers, including contract negotiation and management

- Translate high-level strategies into actionable, ambitious, yet attainable plans. Develop, plan, and manage an -annual Marketing activity budget
- Analyze and continuously improve campaign performance in order to meet strategic business objectives. Provide input into developing and implementing promotional, lead generation, and lead nurturing programs
- Partner with Sales and Product teams in aligning roadmaps, conducting market research and implementing new strategies based on findings.
